Effective training is more than just great content it must be delivered consistently and effectively to ensure the user has absorbed the material and can use it effective withh a customer. The Simply Smart Training strategy takes everything good from traditional e-learning and takes it to a whole new level.

The Content

Confirm Absorption

  • Step 1 of the strategy is to have and deliver the knowledge of the product or service or skill that is being presented. This is usually accomplished via a video about the topic. We utilize a Micro Training approach to effective present the content in under five minutes. By being focused on that topic and not trying to cover the universe around that topic the user can focus on one thing at a time.

  • Step 2 of the strategy is to confirm the absorption of the knowledge. This can be accomplisjed via a short quiz or assessment about key items discussed in the video or provided documents. This is where typical online training courses end and offer up a green check mark for a passing score. At this point you are supposed to be a subject matter expert.

Verify Ability to Use Effectively

  • Step 3 is where we separate ourselves from the rest. Now that we know the user has grasped the key points of the content, now it is time to confirm they can use it effectively. This accomplished by first allowing them to practice and rehearse their presentation or responses to real life scenarios via the video practice tool. The final step of the confirmation phase is to challenge themselves with AI simulations where a AI generated customer asks relavant questions about the product and offers up real life objections.

  • Step 4: While learning something new can be fun, it’s easy to feel like you’ve mastered it after just a few tries. Complacency can set in, leading us to cut corners. Without a method to stay sharp, our production and performance may suffer. Mastery is achieved through practice and repetition. To foster continuous improvement, the Simply Smart Training Daily Challenge feature adds an element of fun to practice. Each team member receives an SMS on specific days, allowing them to click a random source generator or spin a wheel to get a product and customer scenario to respond to. The whole process takes less than two minutes, with responses sent to the manager for feedback.
